Linking MyHermes to Ebay

Hi

I have linked MyHermes to my ebay account. I have sold a number of things that up until now I have decided to send by MyHermes. I've just sold 3 items, 1 of which is to be sent by MyHermes and the others I'm sending 2nd class signed for Royal Mail. However, when I've selected "upload parcels" all 3 have come in. Do I just ignore the other 2 and pay for the one I want to send by MyHermes. Why were they pulled in from MyEbay when I clearly selected 2nd class Royal Mail signed for from the drop down menu in Ebay, is there something I should have done to prevent this from happening and what happens to them now they are sat there?

Very new to all this so could do with as much help as possible.

TIA

arrrgghhh. me again with another postage question. I've ended up sending the other 2 parcel by MyHermes anyhow because I've obviously fucked up on the postage. I had gone to the Royal Mail website having weighted and measured parcels - they both came in at under 1kg and within the dimensions of 45x35x8cm which the sight says can be sent Royal Mail 2nd Class signed for at £3.70 so that is the postage I put on the auction. However, when I've come to print labels via ebay - this option is not available, they have first class signed for but it's more expensive than MyHermes. I could send and not have it tracked or signed for but that feels wrong as perhaps a buyer decided to go for the item because it was "guaranteed" to arrive. Why isn't the £3.70 option there? or have I totally misinterpreted the Royal Mail website?

TIA (again)

I think general Ebay seller opinion is that the "Print postage labels" service is awful and unreliable. I tried it once on a listing that stated MyHermes for courier; the only options that came up were Royal Mail. Confused.

The only Ebay postage service that is worthwhile is their courier deal with RM for very large items; I lost £20 by not knowing about that. :(

thanks lljkk although I'm still a bit confused Confused are you saying that ebay don't list all the option and those options they do list may be incorrect? absurd!

can anyone clarify for me if the 2nd class signed for Royal Mail option exists for small parcels? I'm more than happy to use MyHermes but I do wonder if the £4.20 postage puts some people off.

Yes it exists, you get up to £50 compensation for 2nd class signed for. Which is a lot higher insurance than MyHermes.
I think folk are more put off MyHermes if they miss delivery they have to travel further (usually, compared to nearest RM sorting office) to the depot to collect the MyHermes parcel themselves.

myhermes has now increased insurance to £50 a 0-2kg parcel with my hernes is £4.20

royal mail small parcel signed for is £3.70 though only upto 1kg not 2kg like myhermes
