Do I have to refund this buyer?

Sold a pair of size 6 shoes on eBay and buyer says they are a size 9.

They are NOT a size 9 as I am a size 6 and would have no need for size 9 shoes! They fit me and I wore them a few times but not as much as I should, so sold them on.

I understand that they are too big for her but is the my fault?

Do I have to refund her?

Tell her you'll accept a return if she will pay return postage, with the promise to refund her postage too if the shoes are found to be a 9 upon receipt. Of course they won't be so, it's a pain, but at least you won't be out-of-pocket. It's not worth the hassle and crap feedback tbh. Next time you list, take a pic of the label (I do for clothing) and photograph showing the shoe size. it stinks, I know...

A 6 would be close to a US nine. That may be the confusion? If they are labelled 6, there should be a need to refund. Did you listing say uk6? was the buyer in the UK?

Great advice! Right, that's what I'll do.

She should be able to send you a pic to prove her point. And not of an upside down 6 :)

Leo"s advice is good

AllThreeWays · 25/06/2013 12:01

^ oops, "no need for a refund" I meant

Do women's shoes go up to size 9?!

Pinkflipflop · 25/06/2013 14:08

Yes I wondered if it was possible for women's shoes to go up to size 9, but I checked the irregular choice website and they do!
