Buyer says paypal playing up

and wants my email address to transfer money through paypal, feedback looks fine, do you think this is safe?

I'd think so. I've certainly done this and accepted this.

Ask for their email & send a PayPal invoice instead?

I tried to pay by PayPal today and kelt getting booted out. Finally managed it, but only by logging in to website rather than linking from eBay, and it asked me tons of security questions.

Anecdotal I know, but night be a true story?

try clearing cookies if you are booted out

if the buyer selects paying for ebay goods in paypal they can fill in details there - is perfectly safe. Make sure you send with proof of delivery to be sure.
