"Unanswered message" but can't see message in INBOX???

Please could someone help me with this? On my selling list the red box appears which says item has "unanswered question". However, when I go to my INBOX I can't see any new messages... WTAF? Has anyone experienced this problem? It is wierd. Will the message eventually appear? Thanks.

Well, I've worked it out... in case anyone is interested. If you answer a question and then the person responds by saying "Thanks for answering" or "Ok. I understand, thanks" for example, that person's answer shows up as an unanswered question because indeed you have not answered their answer! Just worked it out .

I know, it drives me nuts!
