I returned an item by 1st class recorded mail on 07/07/2012, but apparently it's still 'being progressed through our network for delivery'.

Does anyone know what this means? Us the seller avoiding signing for it? Or have Royal Mail lost it?

TIA.

probably been delivered and not signed for, or maybe a card has been left and item not collected.

Have you asked the seller, have you opened a dispute to get your money back - if not I would open the dispute now and enter the tracking number. eBay may refund you themselves.

I got that when an item I had sent got lost, had to claim from Royal Mail in the end.
