Why am I being charged to add photos?

I am brand new to selling.

The first two things I sold, everything was fine, I added as many photos as I wanted without being charged.

But now I am trying to list my third item, I am only allowed to insert one picture for free.

The listings were otherwise the same - 99p start.

Am I being thick?

Thanks in advance.

There could have been a special when you previously listed, this sometimes happens. When we list on eBay you normally have one free photo and pay for any others (but we aren't experts so someone who is may be along soon with better info).

depends on the category - some categories like clothes you can have more free pictures - other categories charge for any extra pics.

Oh. But it was clothing!

I must have pressed something daft. I'll start over.

Thank you!

were you paying for bigger pictures?

I only realised tonight you get all pics free in clothing Blush

I've just listed two swimsuits (also 1st time ebayer) and had to pay for extra photos. DO you have to use a generic category to get them free?
