Got a message from her tonight saying that item is not working. She asked if i would accept a return.
I said a return was fine but she would have to pat the return postage. I would refund on return original postage and payment. Was this fair?

It was in perfect working order when I sent it off 10 days ago. Very well packaged. Would have got to her early this week. It was a kids toy.

She says that she will not pay return postage. Will only post back if I pay it.

What now?
Why do I have a feeling they broke it and now want refund? Why not get in touch as soon as they received utter rather than wait until now? Or its not broken at all and they ate trying their luck!

This is why I go off Ebay!

well she can't have a refund unless she does return it. I would just tell her to return it, and once you have checked your security marks you will refund her. If the item was faulty then a good seller will refund return postage too, but there is no way she can enforce this.
