Non payment - should I contact buyer now?

I am on day 4 after an item I listed sold. There is still no payment. Do I now contact the buyer and ask for payment, or do I just go ahead and open a case against them? also asking for my brother as he's in the same predicament!

I would just open a case - otherwise you send an email, then how long do you leave it. No point hanging around, if they aren't going to pay an email won't make any difference.

I was about to open a case today, but sent invoice again and they have finally paid.
It's such a faff when you don't know what to do and have to make repeated journeys to post offices.
Glad I have nothing left to sell. Phew!
Hope they pay up or drop out soon.

thank you both. Still no payment this morning so have now opened a case. Will see what happens..
