And now they have suspended my account

eBay have suspended my account and haven't told me why. I called them and they told me to email them a copy of my passport and a household bill, which i did. No one can tell me why though. The only thing I can think of was a listing I made which was a Dior skirt... that was real.

They cancelled all my listings and cancelled items that have been sold. Then sent emails out to all the people that have bought stuff from me telling them that I was no longer a resisted user AND THAT THEY COULD GET THEIR MONEY BACK...even stuff that I've sent out.

This is a nightmare... anyone else gone through this?

That's worrying. Not that I have had this happen before. I'm afraid I can't offer enlightment on this topic but sympathise.

There are sometimes scam emails that go out telling folk their account has been suspended to get them to type username etc into a fake site.
Also do you owe any fees at all - sometimes that can lead to suspension if there's overdue amounts.

No fees owing and not a scam as my account is blocked. Boogie I've learnt that you can get you account blocked by listing too many items in one day.

it is probably the designer stuff etc, you need to go onto ebay phone and talk then email them what is requested

if relatively new designer stuff sends real alarm bells ringing in head quarters

I've got my ebay account back but they cancelled all my listings and cancelled items that I had sold and was waiting for payment on... I've lost about £40. They also sent me a bill for fees, even though my balance is showing nil in ebay for fees owing. I am so pissed off that they have lost me all this money and I still have to pay them when they cancelled the items.

Firstly they said it has something to do with the dior skirt and other items I was selling... which I pointed out most of them were from pumpkin patch and then they changed their story and said it was about an account I hadn't used for 7 years that was owning fees... all £2 of them. After they had to give me log in details I paid the £2 fees on the old account.

But now they have suspended my paypal account for selling illegal goods and withheld my money in there for 180 days. I can't sell on ebay because I can't link my paypal account to my ebay account. I called paypal and spent 35 minutes on an 0845 number trying to sort it out and was told it was, but it hasn't been.

I'm so fed up with this and it's cost me more than I've made in the past few weeks to sort this out. I feel like i'm being victimised by them and made to feel like a criminal...
