Bidder wants to withdraw her bid - help!

Have listed an item on eBay and was made up to get a bid on it with 6 days still to go. There are now still 2 days to go, and the bidder has messaged me saying can as cancel her bidding. No explaination as to why. I still have 7 watchers, so hopefully it will sell but I'm gutted Sad

What do I do? Is she bound to the bid she placed, or can she retract it - or do I need to cancel it from my end?

She can retract it and put a reason why on the form

I have cancelled bids for people before. At least she's given plenty of notice. I had one ask me in the last few minutes Shock

Really annoying; however, she won't pay up and give you good feedback if she wins so you may as well remove it.

So how do I cancel her bid? Or do I just tell her to go and retract?

I know I have cancelled bids on request. There must be a link somewhere...

I haven't had any experience of retracting bids.

here It is quite easier to do but you need to do it your end.

Thanks for the link - have withdrawn it now. Fingers crossed another watcher buys it, I'd mentally spent that money!
