many sellers do this when they are out of stock - means they don't need to end and restart the listing, then when back in stock they just put the price back to the correct amount.

ahhh. And if someone drunkenly presses the wrong button and orders two (not that I have ever ever done such a thing) that's their bad luck!!

Also try using - rocks in their heads, or broken bottles in their heads... You can tell my mother had a lovely turn of phrase (and a high opinion of me!).
