Help on cancelled sale please - I'm an eBay virgin!

I sold an item of clothing but when I went to wrap it for packing, I turned the sleeve back and there was a big stain on the elbow.....

I contacted the buyer immediately with a photo of the stain, offering a discount if they still wanted it or a refund if they did not. She was very good about it thankfully, but declined as it was for a gift.

I have refunded in full via PayPal, but what do I need to do regarding eBay? Do I make it a cancelled sale or what??? This is only the second item I have listed and the first was smooth sailing, I have absolutely no idea what I need to do about this, my summary shows as item awaiting despatch.

yes from my eBay go to account then resolution centre then cancel a transaction from there :)

Thank you so so much! I have doneit now thanks to you. I didn't even realise you get some fee credit - do you get the whole listing fee back then? Even a bit of it back would be more than I expected tbh.

no not the initial listing fee - but you get the final value fee refunded which is about 10% of the final price :)
