The item cost £5 and I only sent it 2nd class. Is it worth trying to claim? I am so annoyed as this is the 2nd item lost in the last month Angry

Going to have send everything recorded now..

Gah! I need to raise a claim with RM also but its an impossible situation for sellers on ebay - you send the item and the buyer says they haven't received it, does a charge back on your paypal account before RM have sorted it out so they are likely to get your goods plus their money back

Has anyone else noticed this happening more frequenty since sellers can't leave negs cos I bloody well have!

Do you need to claim with RM before issuing a refund?

Had 2 claims in the last month. Everything is going recorded now.

most sellers refund first claim later as far as I know.

I had this, this month and I was convinced the seller had received the goods. She delayed in paying (because she was on holiday) even though she entered a bid on the item in the last 30 seconds of it selling. Then she said hadn't received the goods so we told her to open a claim on Ebay when allowed which was the 19th August. She didn't bother to open the claims so we assumed she'd received the goods, then she opens the claim this week, claiming she hadn't done it before because she'd been on holiday and the kids went back to school.

I think she paid more than she wanted for the item and tried it on so I've had to refund and now I've got to wait for RM to refund me, and I can't see that happening anytime soon.
