How would you pack a pair of boots?

Sold a pair of knee length, high heel boots. Heels are quite chunky. How would be best to pack these? I thought about bubble wrap and then one of the plastic stick down mailing sacks. Do you think that would be OK? Was a bit worried about the heels getting snapped or something.

I have always put boots into a box as that is how I would like to receive them. Some of the boxes have been a bit strange like wine boxes from the supermarket! Sainsburys always have loads lying about to take. Havent had any complaints yet

Mmm, thought about a box - I might be able to get some empty boxes from work if I tip out unpack and put away stacks of envelopes etc. I guess the weight would be much the same and I could put it in a big mailing sack to waterproof it.

So I have rescued a suitable box from bin at work. Would you put it in a mailing sack as well?

Yes and bubble wrap as well!
