Could I have done better on these clothes?

I have just popped my Ebay selling cherry, I put a load of DD's newborn baby clothes on. I sold about 1/2 of my 10 listed items -all bundles. None of them made much money though - between 99p and £2.20. Apart from the £2.20 bundle (which was next), the others were all Tesco/Asda clothes. They were in lovely condition though, I included photos and looked at how others had listed their items and copied that.

So is that pretty much the 'going rate' for baby clothes?? And what could I do to shift the remaining 5 items (2 coats together, 1 coat seperately, baby shoes, 3 x summery romper suits, 2 x summer dresses) - all start at 99p with £2 postage.

Thanks!

I think basics like tesco and asda dont sell for much as people know they are not that expensive to buy new. Brands like Next, Monsoon, john lewis, boden and designer stuff will always sell better as people feel they are getting a bargain.

I personally wouldnt want to buy 2 coats together so you might want to try them seperately - also remember its coming up to summer so people might not be looking for coats.

Sometimes its just luck and you'll relist it all and it will sell for good prices. It can be disheartening though as its a lot of hassle for £3 isnt it!!

Thanks Social, I'll do that. They are sort of light fleecy jackets, ideal for this time of year really but not summer. It is a lot of hassle, not sure it's worth it really!! Might try a Boot Sale next time.
