Hello,

I sold a pair of boots over a month ago now. Sent them via standard parcels, and obtained proof of postage as I always do. Received a message from the buyer a few days ago asking if I had sent them out yet. Told her that I had, and I'd look for proof of postage and then send it on to her to claim via Royal Mail. Problem is I've looked and must've chucked the proof of bloody postage as it was over a month ago (typically am now finding pop from last bloody year in my bag!).

So, what do I do? Am I able to claim via Royal Mail without proof of postage?

Why on earth didn't she let me know sooner that they hadn't arrived? I let her know exactly when I posted them. I message people when an item hasn't turned up after 7 days!

Help please! Thanks

unfortunately you will need to refund and then if you find the pop you can claim from RM. It is always teh seller that claims and not the buyer.
You could message back and ask them to check with neighbours and with their local sorting office - sometimes the postie doesn't leave a card so the parcel could be waiting at the sorting office.
