Postage to Rep of Ireland - can anyone help?

Someone has asked me if I post to Rep of Ireland. The item is a teddy bear so very light (140 grams). According to the Royal Mail website, it would only cost me 3p more than posting within the UK - can this be right? I am an ebay virgin!

Thanks.

I make it £1.70 airmail or £1.32 surface mail.

Thanks for that. I guess the only issue is not having it tracked but as it is small value I'll do it. I feel bad for Irish bidders!

www.royalmail.com/portal/rm/content1?catId=400036&mediaId=53800712 for postage prices.

I'd add the £4.90 for Airsure (tracked airmail), and also make sure you weigh the item in packaging as 20g makes the price go up and sellotape and jiffy bags get quite heavy!

But yes, postage for fairly light things in the EU isn't that much.
