change of address after sending payment!!

can anyone please advise...just purchased a fancy dress outfit from ebay and paid by paypal as usual. upon receiving receipt from ebay, I realised that the delivery address is down as my old address that i moved from in november! my bank account and credit card is at my new address but just had'nt got round to changing it on ebay or paypal !
i immediately sent the seller my new address but probably won't hear anything now until tomorrow, i then got sent an automated email which you generally receive from ebay when you buy something with the sellers policys etc, and it did say address details cannot be changed after payment has been received but i did inform the sellers literally 5 minutes after i made payment so she definitely has not dispatched the item yet ( this was all done at 8pm tonight!!). am i panicking about nothing or is the item going to be sent to my old address by 1st class post so no one to sign for it and i lose my money!

I think you can get a form from the post office to get all your mail re-directed - pop in tomorrow morning to get sorted if you don't hear back from the seller.

By the time you would have got your mail redirected the seller would have sent and it will be too late it takes up to 7 days to initiate a redirection.

You can pull their contact details and ring them?

Most if not all sellers send to the address on the PayPal transaction page and have to do so in order to be eligible for Seller Protection.

However, this only really applies if the item is sent signed for.

thanks guys, have got their number to call but knowing my luck as is a registered ebay shop, maynot be in the business till monday but will try anyway!
