Hi there,

I am selling a few items and have been asked whether i will send to Czech Republic, New York and Greece.

Is there any reason to say no? Do things get more complicated (apart from having to charge more for postage?)

Any advice appreciated!

Postage can be an issue as can box size.

RM won't deliver to the EU packages over about four shoeboxes size. Parcelforce etc have some options but they are £££

so depends on what you are sending really. Also ensure you get online tracking, in case of paypal dispute - and don't send surface mail if it's the US because it can take months, literally.

Otherwise, no, not really a problem IME.

Charge for shipping only once you have a solid quote from the post office, too.

I've been caught out like that many years ago.

I just don't do it because it means I have to take the parcel to the post office whereas I normally do self-print postage at home.

For me, it's the sheer inconvenience of having to get a postage quote, which probably sounds lazy, but when you have a job and a child, multiple trips to the post office are a pain in the arse!

Thanks for your replies. I hope these items sell for a decent amount - all the questions are driving me bananas!
