changing mind about selling after someone has made a bid/

I want to sell a pushchair and advertise it locally as well as on e bay.
If someone has made a bid can I sell it locally and just cancel the auction?
Do I still have to pay e-bay fees?
Also can I change a description after I have posted the auction?
My dh was supposed to confirm postage and he didn't, I want to start auction tonight can I change postage tomorrow when I can get to the PO?

Yes you can cancel it. YOu have to give a reason, and there is a choice, such as it is no longer available for sale. You still pay the insertion fees.
