I sent something to the USA even though I said uk only. It cost her £80 to buy from me. I sent it air sure which I'd tracked through the uk then signed for when it gets to the USA. The tracking has aid it's on the USA for about 4-5 days now and hasn't said much else.

My buyer is getting shirty, I have given her the tracking number but not much else I Can do. I have told her to wait a bit longer but what will happen. She has said she is going to contact ebay but will eBay just see it in her favour. It was sent fully tracked so surely if I cam show ot has been sent? It's a lot for me to lose out on.

Amy advice, it's playing on my mind. :-(

Did you book your postage through ebay (paypal)if not add the tracking number to the item. Where does your tracking say it is? it may be stuck in customs. It is up to you to refund the buyer and claim from the postal company. she's being impatient parcel post to the states usally take 14-15 days

How do I add tracking number, will do it asap. She says it takes 7 days usually. I was told by my PO that it could take 7-8 days but once it gets to USA they will post it when they want and I also agree that it could be held up with customs. So hope it arrives soon as she is e-mailing constantly it's really getting to me now.

Tracking says it has been handed over to the USA postal service for posting. It has said that for about 4 days now.

When did you send it. Airsure 'can' be slightly quicker than airmail. They 'aim' to deliver airmail to usa 5 working days after the date of posting.. Incidentally with Airsure, a signature is not obtained upon delivery.

XboxWidow30 · 02/08/2010 20:50

I can't see it. I am looking at the other actions bit next to the item in the sold section of my ebay. Is that right? Would like to add tracking info somewhere so ebay know it's tracked.

I was told by my local PO that air sure was tracked in the UK and then not tracked in the USA bit a signature when it got to it's destination?

Sorry my fault it was sent, airmail small packet and I paid an extra fee for international signed for on top of that.

A signature is only obtained with International Signed For - not Airsure.

venusonarockbun · 02/08/2010 21:05

But you cant do Airsure and International Signed For on the same packet!

venusonarockbun · 02/08/2010 21:07

Sorry I think ive misunderstood!

XboxWidow30 · 02/08/2010 21:12

No it wasn't airsure, my fault. It was just a standard airmail package and then I paid extra for it to be international signed for.
