Bit confused about " buy it now"

I have listed a few things and wanted them to go quite quickly , as we are going away soon and didnt want to be going to the Post Office couple of days before I go. So I put them on for a buy it now price only. However , what I dont understand is that I have a few watchers on both of the items. I dont understand what they are watching for , the price wont go up or down will it ? Ive listed a few other things for auction now , as my sell it quick plan doesnt seem to be working ! Any experience ?

they could be watching other similar items which are auctions, to see if they can get it for a cheaper price.

I watch Buy It Now stuff. Sometimes because I have no money until pay day and I'm going to come back to it. And sometimes because I haven't quite decided if I want to buy yet.

They might just be thinking about buying. I'll watch BIN things as I very rarely purchase on impulse.

some people watch if they are thinking of selling the same thing

Ah , I see , thank you all for your advice. The item with the most watchers actually sold this afternoon.

yay good news.
I often shout at the screen " Stop watching it! Buy It! Buy it NOW!!" and other such shouts (strong words included)

I do this, I added loads of BIN to my watch list when I was looking for a cheap new tent, it means I can compare them. However, I get very frustrated when people do it to me!
