Can anyone recommend a company to use for travel insurance? Things are going well and we want to go away for a week for half term. Only about 90 mins away. But its only been a month since it last hospital visit, its early days and there’s a risk that things may go backwards again - I don’t want to lose the accommodation money.

I found AllClear to be good for those with ongoing medical issues.

I used StaySure while I was in the process of having tests with an undiagnosed issue black out episode (was a one off and no diagnosis ever). I've heard they're also good for diagnosed medical issues too. Expensive but worth it for me.

If you are staying the UK OP you may find paying a flexible rate better value that taking out travel insurance just to cover Uk accommodation costs. Worth checking.
