My baby’s being weaned off the tube. He hasn’t had the tube used for a couple days. He’s 11.6kg in weight. I was wondering if 200 ML formula and around 600ML water is enough for hydration. He can’t have more than 200Ml of milk as he aspirates Obviously he has purées and food with some water content during the day.
Example meal attached.

Is there a dietitian involved? They usually give me the volumes to aim for for my tube fed child rather than the paediatrican.

yep she said aim for 200ML water and as much water as he drinks, 3 meals and 2 snacks. She wasn’t specific hence why I asked. What is your child’s aim?
