Have name changed for this as really don't want associated with my other posts

I've been an on and off purger for as long as I can remember. Maybe once a week, once a Fortnite (I am in no way minimising it)

Lately after purging I am getting a sharp pain in my chest and my left arm. Chest pain subsides after a couple of minutes but the arm pain lasts a while.

Has anybody in the same position as me re purging had these same pains?

I need to stop. But can't.

Any new chest pain, particularly radiating to the left arm, should be checked out, OP. It could be nothing serious, could be muscular, etc, or it could be damage to your oesophagus, or it could be a heart issue, or any number of things. No one here can know what it is, and even if they had the same symptoms, the cause might be completely different. I don’t know if you do feel like this, but if you are hesitant about going to a doctor / hospital about this because of fear of judgement, or anything like that, please try to remember that you are deserving of help. The NHS treats smokers with diseases caused by smoking, obese people with obesity related illnesses, etc. I have not been in your position with the purging and would not be able to offer any advice but the chest pain could potentially need prompt treatment. I hope you get on ok.

Chest and arm pain can be a symptom of heart attack and shouldn't be ignored.

If you are light and not looking after yourself it could be that your system is weakened and your heart is struggling.

Please seek help.
