Possible binge eating disorder, what to try?

I've been binging every morning, trying to eat porridge/fruit rather than choc etc (which I was earlier in the year), but it's still far too much (think 4-6 bowls worth).
What can I try to eat less at breakfast? I'm going to try to have one less tomorrow.

What does the rest of your day's eating look like? Could you try eggs and bacon rather than carbs?

Have you tried eating a meal rather than breakfast? Lots and lots of vegetables plus meat and a small amount of carb. I have chronic fatigue and binge if I’m not well and craving energy. I find if I’m on a relatively even keel the thing, which works best for me is a salad for breakfast... easier in warmer months. Lots of lettuce, cucumber, 1/2 avocado, a bit of cheese and smoked salmon. Plus olive oil and vinegar. I eat most of the veggies first. The veggies plus the vinegar stop the sugar spikes and reduce the cravings.

I've switched to egg and bacon, and it seems to work. Thanks for all the tips, I'll watch that video too.

It’s great that you’re trying to make changes! You could try adding more protein or healthy fats to your breakfast, like eggs, Greek yogurt, or nut butter, as they keep you fuller longer. Eating slowly and drinking water beforehand might help, too. Reducing gradually, like aiming for one less bowl, is a smart approach small steps make a big difference.

I’ve had this problem all my life and am slipping back into it now.

A breakfast omelette for some reason is even more filling than bacon and eggs …also Prozac can be described for binge problems. Good luck, it’s exhausting. I ate 8 slices of toast yesterday 😭
