Just that really. I have a new born and having a tough time, mentally and physically, so ended up eating maybe 200 grams of chocolate ConfusedBlush feeling sick and disgusted with myself. I really need to stop the sugar habit. Wanted to vent

Oh lovely, tomorrow is a new day, don’t beat yourself up.
Congratulations on your new baby.

In my attempt to stop my sugar addiction I just made, and ate, ‘date bark’ the newest TikTok trend. Dates spread with almond butter, a sprinkling of cashews and topped with melted dark chocolate. I made it after eating a bar each of dairy milk and a wispa -both small ones out of multipacks-in an attempt to stop me eating several of them.

It would have been fine if I’d stopped at one little square of the ‘healthy’ treat.
I didn’t. I ate the lot!

Its done and dusted now so just focus on your gorgeous new baby, not the fact that you’ve eaten a bit too much chocolate today. I hope things feel brighter for you soon Flowers

How are you getting in now @Sugaraddict123? If you had a newborn, please be kind to yourself.

Having a newborn is tough, and it can be really tough. Sleep deprivation can make you crave sugar and if you were BFing, I'd just bland it on the baby needing the chocolate WinkFlowers
