Heartstopper & Eating disorder

Has anyone seen heartstopper? Was planning to start watching with my teens but just read an article about the representation of one of the lead character’s eating disorder. Article actually says the programme got it right and it’s not glorified at all. However we are just out the other side of my teen DD’s ED and I am wary of triggers. We do talk quite openly so if done well could be a prompt for discussion…

Wondering what anyone whose seen it thought of the portrayal of the ED?

Hi OP,

I'm not sure if you're still looking for responses on this but I have seen heartstopper and am also recovered from an eating disorder (anorexia to be specific). I'll try and give my perspective without spoiling too much, if you still wanted an opinion.

I hope your DD is doing better 💐
