Has anyone had any experience of this transition? I’m really worried as my DD is currently on the edge of camhs red zone bug according to adult services , would be in their green zone.
this is really concerning and I’m scared they won’t help her

when you are talking about the zones, are you only referring to the weight aspect?

It’s likely adults won’t take that as seriously, partly because she’ll be presenting for the first time/isn’t known to them, so they won’t have her history or trajectory of weight loss being under their service.

But also because the way they measure health and danger zones is more focused on blood, ecg results and physical obs.

It can be tricky to make sure those are being monitored adequately as some adult services will say the responsibility is with the GP and will write to them, but GPs aren’t always clued up on EDs. So make sure physical health checks are pushed for.

It makes sense because pushing for weight restoration has much better outcomes in early intervention, which the majority of camhs patients are compared to adults patients.
