Looking for some advice please. I have a friend who I’ve known for a long time who I don’t see very often who has had anorexia for a long time (coming up for the best part of 20 years). We are not very close but we do try and meet up about once a year if possible (she lives at the other end of the country and only comes “home” occasionally) and we have a WhatsApp group chat with some mutual friends. Recently she has posted some pictures on Facebook where she is looking almost skeletal (sorry if this sounds rude but I’m just meaning it as a statement of fact). Myself and a couple of mutual friends are really worried about her and I’m looking for some advice as to how to handle this. Not sure whether to message her and express concern or whether to mind our own business. I wouldn’t want her to think that I don’t care about her but I realise that a message may come across the wrong way. She can sometimes be quite open about her illness but at other times she’s not very forthcoming. Not sure what to do for the best.
