Croeso everybody
This has been the quietest week I have ever known on my street. Normally everyone is out at the front talking half the day - rain, hail or shine but it turns out not in 30° heat actually.
We aren't made for this we keep gasping at each other when we cross paths ...

I live in England now and, genetically, am only 25% Welsh.
However, I feel totally Welsh and know who I'd support in a rugby match.*
And my uncle worked with Max Boyce.
As to the language, I wish I knew more. It was compulsory for the first three years of my secondary school, but I missed years 2 and 3 because my father's job took us to live in South America for a while. For some reason, the subject taught in Welsh in my year 1 was the indigenous people of North America (I'm lying a bit here; I'm so old that we were taught about the "Red Indians").
So, I can't tell the time in Welsh, but I can say "The buffalo are running on the prairie".
*Union, obviously. What is this "league" of which you speak?
