Ivf using donor eggs

Hi Myself and my partner have had 2 rounds of ivf in the uk ans 4 embryos transferred which have never taken. We are now going with reprofit and are using ‘your ivf journey’ to support us.
Ivw been told to start taking the birth control pill from next week as that’s when my next bleed is due.
I was wondering what the process is for this route? I’m a teacher so we want to go to Czech rebublic when i break up for the summer.
I just wonder when i would choose the donor? and how long the process will take ect..
I think we will get our actual treatment plan next week which i am so excited about as this is our last go. Mentally i feel like there has to be a point when we stop so we have decided to make this the last try.
I would love to hear all of your experiences with this route please.

My scan went well, it’s 8w3d. I went to my gynaecologist as it was important to have that scan with her as she knows my story. And gave me a hug at the end. Next scan and bloods - at 10 weeks at Fetal Medicine Centre.
Terribly and kind of painfully bloated, but it’s because of the amount of progesterone I’m taking.
@janeyc1986 if I understand, you are in touch with Reprofit through another company. Could you chase them directly? It should be quicker.
To be honest, it was hard for me to see pregnant women, and I was avoiding chats etc.
@FlatWhiteAnyone good luck with your journey! So, the fertilisation starts today then and you’ll know by tomorrow how many fertilised, right?

@GingerFox2021congratulations on the first scan!! Yeah progesterone is not fun..
They said they will keep me updated every day.. Clinic wanted to do a fresh transfer, but I asked to create in advance to know my chances, we won’t go for another donor if it fails

I did contact reprofit and they said that if i want to go straight to them then i would need to talk to my coordinator and arrange to not have them inbetween. I just feel like they don’t chase anything up and the results are really important. I’m so happy for you it’s super exciting xx

@janeyc1986 I’d encourage you to do it directly with the Clinic, you’ll feel you have more control over it. What are you planning to do?

Hi GingerFox2021 How’s the pregnancy going? I hope all is well. We Fly to Brno on the 31st for our first egg donated embryo, so scared but excited too x

@janeyc1986 how are you doing? How did your transfer go? When will you start testing? I started on day 5. Couldn’t wait anymore. Fingers crossed for you.
Apologies, for silence, but I had an extremely stressful August, numerous scans and didn’t feel like posting anything. I had to wait to 16 weeks to do Amnio and then to wait 11 days for full results. The results came back clear/normal, so now I feel I can breath and sleep better.
