Hi all,
looking for some guidance. We have been trying to conceive with my partner for about a year now with no luck, we tested a while ago and it all looked fine. I am 42 and found out yesterday that likely i am entering early menopause. Upon further investigation my SSH level turn out to be very high and there were no follicles in my ovaries, i am empty.
It was suggested to us to look into egg donor services. We here been referred to supported pregnancy clinic in Guy’s hospital in London.

I feel a bit lost at the moment, feel like 2 heavy things just fell on me in one day.
The journey of DE, can i get some advice on it? Where do i even start and regarding the clinic in Guy’s hospital in London - has anyone used it?

Thank you

I had twins via DE, aged 47.
The Fertility Friends forum (Donor Eggs | Fertility Friends Support Forum) is a great resource for starting your DE journey. Would you consider going abroad for treatment?

I have been reading about it, i see a lot of people recommend Spain and Czech Republic. Did you go aboard?
Also how many cycles did it take? How did you feel?
sorry for all those questions, feeling a bit overwhelmed.

@Kalax it's definitely something I never thought I'd do and was insistent o OE and persevered for 2 years.before giving it serious thought with DE.

I'm currently 11 weeks pregnant with DE and it's so magical.
My 1st transfer did not work and with guidance from MN I asked for a change in meds with the 2nd working.

I did have my DE in Spain. Initially we had a look at some clinics online, had consultations then flew out 2 visit the top 2 we liked. Whilst there we picked the one we liked and started the tests. Feel free to ask any questions
