Chemical Pregnancy with DE - Success Story after!

Hi All,

I just found out we are unfortunately having a chemical pregnancy after fresh transfer of egg donor embryos and after a rather positive start (with good progression line and decent Beta). We have 5 more embryos in the freezer but was wondering if anyone had the same experience with IB. Also, how long after you were able to try for the next cycle? For the frozen cycle will they be able to tell you a bit in advance the day of transfer?

I am struggling emotionally at the moment especially as accepting DE was very difficult for both of us. Please share positive success stories after chemicals!

Really sorry to hear this. Most clinics are happy for you try again right away, provided they can accommodate you.

If you do a natural/modified cycle, transfer will be 5 days after you ovulate, whenever that ends up being.

If you do a medicated cycle, there’s a bit more flexibility. You’ll likely be given a provisional date from the start but it may alter slightly.
