Why/why not?
A friend and I were having a conversation about general surrogacy/IVF, whether you’d do it for a friend or not then it boiled down to race/cultural differences. We both decided that while no we wouldn’t do it for a friend but only for a same sex partner. Another friend said they would for a friend of their own race but not for a different one due to the complexities involving the child’s right to know their own heritage and be brought up according to that identity
