Donating eggs

Hi all,

Has anybody donated their eggs and would mind sharing their experience?

I am seriously considering it. I've always liked helping others and I am confident I don't want children of my own (I just cannot face bringing them into the world we live in), however, to give the gift of life to others who are struggling would mean a lot to me. I know there is a lot to think about and consider, so any stories/advice you could pass would be much appreciated x

Your eggs will never be my children, but they'll possibly be someone else's. I think it's lovely that you are willing to do that for them and go through something so selflessly.

I often think about the woman who donated to create my (hopefully) future child and wonder if she thinks about what I might be like. I would never try to find her, since she knows she has anonymity and I will respect that, but I hope she understands how much her gift is appreciated by people who receive it.
