Anyone used London Egg Bank - how many eggs?

We’re getting to the point after failed IVF of thinking about the donor egg route.
If you’ve used London Egg Bank (or another frozen bank) - how many eggs did you get, and what was the outcome - as in how many fertilised, how many blasts, did it work?
Trying to work out what the best options are!

I got about 20, but I plan on making some money off them in future. More of a business decision than personal x

@Aprilsunnyday have you tried Altrui and New Life in the UK? I was looking for a specific ethnicity too... I think it's more about luck than which has the most donors, with the kind of numbers we're talking about. Those two just don't have a public database like LEB, or a store of already frozen eggs - but probably worth talking to ...

@indigoindigosmother

Many thanks for this! No I didn't know these two sites before, and I have now got on those. It seems to have a bit of different idea with LEB.
Only starting to check this route! Maybe good if we still want to have two kids who are siblings.

@Aprilsunnyday yes, i think they work with a clinic as opposed to LEB where you have to use them, and there's a live cycle from the donor - i don't THINK they have any banked frozen eggs - so that's a little bit of a longer process with slightly more unknowns. also, i think the experience of dealing with them might be quite different from the well-oiled machine of LEB. I think that many London clinics must use them though; i rang a couple to ask in case i could track down any more donor banks that way, and spoke to Aria, who use them, and then ARGC, who actually use a bank called Aphrodite in North Cyprus, which took me by surprise. The latter do have a public-facing database, by the way.

@Aprilsunnyday btw - i've had to do a lot of thinking around how much my heritage means to me and why. And about how it feels to be choosing from a pool of one or two possible donors so having to compromise in other ways, versus looking at the States where there are so many more to choose from but it would make the whole process so much more complicated and hugely expensive. And also it is so unregulated there (except, i think, in Colorado), which could make one feel freer but for me it just felt a bit uncontained and unsafe.
if you feel like speaking about any of this, please do PM me. the DNA heritage i was looking for was different, but i think a lot of the issues around it are similar. best wishes.

@indigosmother Thank you so much for the sharing of information. I am very sorry for the delay in response -it just had been terribly busy these couple of days. I will reach out to you directly. x
