Considering donor egg Spain Alicante, how long is the stay?

How long a stay do you need when you use a European fertility clinic? Trying to think of the practicalities.

We flew out to do the sperm.donatikn and back in one day. Then we went back a few weeks later for the transfer andcastued 2 days. The next time we had a frozen embryo transfer and stayed 2 days. We couldn't face spending a week abroad worrying and we were both happier at home and distracted by work x

Sorry about all my typos! Was tired last night! We stayed in a lovely hotel in the centre of Alicante and took taxis to our clinic which was IVI. I would definitely recommend them. I forgot to say that all our scans and meds were done with a partnership clinic in the UK so that cut down the time too. We have a 4 year old bundle of energy now conceived on the second frozen cycle xx

Yes I'm thinking of a uk clinic for scans and meds. Got my first appointment beginning of next month.

Just a quick bit of information that may be of interest. Portugal now have ID release at 18 donors which may be important to your future child? My children are 12 conceived in Spain and have no information on their donors which is an issues for them. Just food for thought. Lots of luck xx

That's definitely something to think about

We did donor egg in Czech Republic and did a 7 night stay. Like previous poster we used a partner clinic in london which helped.
