Just found out I’m pregnant from IVF and a sperm donor

Hello

So yesterday I got the wonderful news that my IVF treatment has worked and I’m pregnant. I live abroad so don’t have a big support network here, although my family and friends at home are delighted but I just wondered if anyone else is at the same / similar stage as me? I’m so excited but also nervous and just wanted to discuss it really

Very much wanted. I can’t believe it. I’ve only had my first blood test and not seen my doctor yet so not sure on my exact due date. I probably should know but don’t know how they work it out for ivf

I just looked it up! (Duh) and it’s 16 feb if it’s one baby or 26 Jan if it’s twins

Do you? How old is your DD? I’m so excited but also a little nervous about the child not having a father, I think I felt this on Father’s Day just gone

She is a pre-schooler now. Keeps me on my toes.

You will feel emotions when circumstances and situations arise, it’s inevitable but what you need to keep at the forefront of your mind is that your child is so wanted and loved by YOU. That’s the most important thing.

Congratulations! I have a three-month-old DD from IVF with sperm donation. IVF was more emotionally gruelling than I ever expected, so I'm really pleased for you and hope everything goes well.

Congratulations! I haven’t been in this situation but I have supported a couple of women through pregnancies like this, and it has always been an absolute joy to share their excitement. Best of luck!

Congratulations I have a 8 month old son with donor sperm.

We celebrated fathers/ grandfathers day with my dad if that helps?

He's just started saying dada too but I know that's just language development ( also says baba a lot)

I'm 17 weeks with donor sperm due on Christmas day. I'm so happy and excited. It's lovely to hear about people that already have their DC.
I'm so excited, did I mention I'm excited? Lol
