So after a struggle of 2 years of my husband not being able to ejaculate/ struggling to have sex with me we have decided to try self insemination. I'd love to hear Of your success stories and any advice would be great ? We have been using a needless syringe and legs in the air for about 30 mins or so, this is first time trying so wether it's been a success or not we don't know :)

We had 6 months of trying and finding 'conception sex' a massive stress due to DH being on sertraline which decreases the sensistivity and sex drive, not to mention having to complete in half hour time frames because of work/child care scheduling, and it was all becoming too much. We bought the cheap amazon home kits - a cup, a tube, a syringe and it really helped take pressure off. We even had one attempt where due to no babysitter and DC1 refusing to go to bed DH provided the goods while I took DC1 for a walk and then DH took over while I lay with my legs in the air. We now have faint postive line on the test! So here's hoping it 'takes'. Do look into this option - its really quite fun if you take it in the right spirit and it certainly helps take the stress out of conception if you are having difficulties.

We’re current using one of those kits off eBay. It’s important to make sure all the equipment is sterile. A lot of the stuff comes from China so quality can be questionable so be careful.

We’ve bought two lots of these from
a UK seller. They arrived quickly and appeared to be of good quality.

Hi all, myself and my parter (lesbian couple) are ttc, we have ttc a few times before but have unfortunately been unsuccessful. This time after doing lots of homework we have a little more hope!! I’m due to ovulate on the 21st however I am looking at having a donation on the 19th and then another on the 21st? I have decided to use a a 5ml syringe then a soft cup and some conceive plus this time, fingers crossed for us!! Does anyone have any tips? X

Hi guys! So me and my partner (same sex) are wanting to have a baby and we done a AI on 29/01/20 and also the 31/01/20... so From then is 5 days since the 1st time doing the AI. Today my partner has had like browny coloured discharge in her thong could this be implantation? Or is it to early to have any signs? Her period is not due for another 2 weeks?,

My wife and I are new to the ttc world. We had a flash smiley today and are hoping for a still smiley tomorrow. 🤞 We will be inseminating as soon as we get the still smiley as it’s frozen sperm so doesn’t last as long as the fresh stuff! I’ve read through all the posts on here and it has helped us understand how things work and what has worked best for people so thank you and wish us luck 🍀

Hiya I have just came across this thread and thought I would join in.

My and my bf are trying home insemination as he is struggling with maintaining an erection at times.

This is our 1st month trying and we managed twice and now currently 6 days po.

Good luck with everyone trying this method ❤

@MissSparkles81

Looking for advice/recommendations of what to buy, UK based please

Hi,
Is this thread still active?
TTC this way due to partner having difficulties. Did our first insemination today and just wondering if anyone had any success stories?

nehbusines · 12/07/2020 16:14

It works 100% but u need to do it every other day from 7-8th day of wen period ends. I realised after an year of TTC that i ovulated on 21st day of my 27 days cycle N we never tried it that late. And only time we tried..i fell pregnant! But one more imp thing that helped me the most is this ayurvedic herb “Shivlingi ke beej” i.e. shivlingi seeds by Patanjali. You should be able to get from amazon. Trust me its very powerful herb , doesnt have any side effects and strengthens ur firtility system with regular recommended consumption . I had it only for a month before i conceived. So pls pls pls give this a go, ideal duration is 3 months to hav improvement in ur system. Its a very potent ayurvedic medicine. Im not thr ambassador or anything.. just want to genuinely help out after realising the power of this ancient Indian herb. Prayers n my best wishes to all trying for babies 💜

Hi all, I'm just wondering if anyone used co parents or co parents match website to find sperm donor? I am 37 and in same sex relationship and just starting to put process in place after much though and discussion. As I dont know how many times this will take I would rather start like this I stead of using sperm bank. Any advice/ recommendations would be appreciated, thanks

Hey ladies, anyone still trying with self insemination and any success.

Beccijt · 25/09/2020 20:47

We tried this method once, on the 11th July. We are now 13 weeks pregnant. Didn’t expect anything of it as didn’t follow all the steps to the letter. But I can 100% say that this method does work.
