Premature Ovarian failure, DE abroad?

I've got very low AMH 0.22 and high fsh 23, which combined with my consistently low antral follicle count I've now been diagnosed with premature Ovarian failure at 38. So donor eggs are the way to go for me. I'm trying to focus on the positives, the eggs will come from a much younger and healthier woman, and the chances of success are way way higher. It's just shite at 38 to be basically menopausal!
Is anyone else looking at (or had) treatment abroad in Spain, Greece or the Czech Republic? I'm in the USA where treatment with donor eggs is insanely expensive! So traveling abroad will be about 50-75% cheaper even including flights!

Ivi Alicante . At the time They had a partnership with our clinic in the UK so all my drugs and scans were done here and we flew out for the transfers.

I'm going to Greece and it was £6500 including sperm. Then another £1000ish for future FET with leftover embryos. Hope that helps.

Sorry those prices should be in euros

Thanks Mandy

Just thought I’d update to give those thinking of using donor eggs some hope! My little boy will be evicted next week as I’m suffering badly from obstetric cholestasis, so they are inducing at 36.5 weeks. I can’t wait! And aside from the OC my pregnancy has been smooth and easy. I highly recommend donor eggs. In a week I will be holding my own sweet little boy and I can’t even begin to describe my emotions.

Snowdog how is life as a mummy? xx

It’s AMAZING 💙 I’ll write more later as it’s been quite a traumatic 3 weeks since he was born. But overall I am so happy! He is scrumptious and I can’t believe I grew such a beautiful baby.
