Sick time question

I'm currently off sick and have GP letter up till mid Feb or longer if I need for recent acute illness. The likelihood is that it will end up as a chronic condition but I aim to get back to work asap- I'm hoping in the next month .
My question is - am I allowed to put in an AL request during this time I'm off sick ? It would be for the summer and it's making me really anxious, as other family members are trying to get same time off . Also could be last family holiday for a while as my DC will be looking for work .

I should have added that it's this time of year we usually plan out our leave as we are a small team and some people need school holidays off . My request is outside of school holidays.

Of course you can. I can't see why it would be an issue. Don't you book it online anyway?

@Toddlerteaplease no we arrange within the team as we are so small . We try and arrange it so everyone can get what's they need but still cover the service . I could try booking online and bringing it to office managers notice maybe .
