Hi,

I have just run out of my stock of Iglu Gel which was discontinued about 2 years ago.

Does anyone have any recommendations for an identical product? (Causes a physical barrier on top of the ulcer).

I get them due to intolerances to medication and these are medications that I must take regularly, and there are no other options.

I have tried everything else under the sun and the iglu gel is the only thing that helps me. I have no deficiencies and no undiagnosed Coeliac/IBD.

If anyone knows of a similar product, I would be very grateful!! Thank you so much

Iglu have just started to make available Iglu Shield, here's some blurb on it:

"Iglu Shield is very similar to the old Iglu Gel in terms of consistency and stickability, but it does not contain the active ingredients: it is an effective, drug-free barrier treatment that won’t slide off and will protect ulcers from food and drink, relieving pain and soreness.

Iglu Shield is available from Boots and Amazon as of this week and will be rolled out to more retailers in the future."

I've not tried it yet.

Here it is on the Boots web site:
