What would you do?

I work as a HCP in a challenging environment.

I was working in one geographical area - small organisation, very switched on, very safe, but a bit boring.

I've moved to a different geographical location (with the same overall managing company) - massive organisation, crazily busy, not brilliantly managed, potential clinical risks everywhere, new staff with little experience, but potential to help it improve.

However, the stress levels in the new place are bad, whereas the small place is really chilled.

Would you stay in the new challenging place or go back to the old safe one??

I suppose its a case of what you feel up to! For me I loved being involved in the change, fighting archaic systems and creating safer environments... until I had my daughter at which point I just needed to chill and do my work quietly for a while. Now she's getting older I'm getting stuck into these things again, fighting the fight and doing what I can. If you're feeling ready for the challenge then get stuck in! If you're in need of a bit of chill then perhaps look elsewhere. Good luck!
