Leaving the NHS

Fellow HCP’s, whats your thoughts around nurses leaving the NHS to take up nursing roles in the private sector. Good idea/bad idea? Do you think if moving back into the nhs at a later stage they would be looked on less favourably?

I work in the private sector and we don't get paid as much as the public. However it is much more attractive as the ratio of patients to nurse is much better in comparison to NHS. Plus, the benefits of private health care etc.
