Hi, I’m a physio qualified in 2010 and have worked for private msk companies (with special interest in pain) until last 18/12 when I got a band 6 NHS specialist pain management post.
I really enjoy pain but the jobs are so few and far between. We’ve relocated and I’m struggling (buying a house so can’t do agency).
I’m contemplating going back to do my NHS rotations to broaden my skills and knowledge. Would I have to start as a band 5? Or does anyone go in at band 6? Worried about the pay drop. Would a preceptorship help to fast track me up to band 6?
Would I be able to keep the spine points i have gained so far? Thanks
