Does anyone work term-time only?

I’ve also posted in the work topic but trying here too. I’m a GPN and my colleague is leaving. I work 3days a week but the practice want me to extend my hours so have suggested taking school hols off as a bit of a carrot. I don’t really want to work 5 days as dh works long hours and travels at the drop of a hat (in normal times!). So considering 4 but really don’t know how it all works ....

Thanks DaneB. I was afraid it sounded too good to be true! I would hope to only extend to 4 days a week as currently working 8.30-4.30 and have 2 school aged kids. I guess I may be able to say I don’t need all school hols off in the hopes they let me do the 4 days!
