Changing units after 6 months

Hi

I posted previously about disliking my workplace etc etc. Well it’s got worse so I bit the bullet and have applied for a couple of jobs all in my old health board, one in my old unit.

I’m allowing a few weeks for interviews / rejections / general admin but if I am lucky enough to be successful I’m trying to be realistic. I have a 2 month notice period so by the time it all goes through it will have been 6-8 months since I started. My area is critical care so highly specialised and do feel a bit awkward about transferring so soon (all jobs are also critical care). I guess I’m just nervous about it looking bad on my CV.

So yeah if anyone can give me a handhold hahaha cos I’m a bit torn between really looking forward to a new job, and feeling a bit reckless.
