Theatre shoes

Hi,

I’m back to work after a career break.

Looking for the holy grail - theatre shoes that are comfortable, help with the long hours on my feet, don’t look too hideous and don’t cost a fortune 😁

Any recommendations?

Crocs? Sad

I have Birkenstock ones. They are amazing.

Go in the clog washer.

Insoles are replaceable too - my last pair lasted 7years with a new pair on insoles at the 4 year mark.

They come in various colors & you can get proper anti-static ones if the place you work is old fashioned although strictly speaking you don't need anti-static anymore.

Crocs but they look hideous. So so comfortable though!

I wear Toffeln flex lite - they are provided by the department, although I think they are providing the croc like shoes these days. Cheaper I daresay Hmm
