Finance Order Court Time

Has anyone applied for a finance order recently with Birmingham Courts? We’ve been through mediation and agreed a split and the solicitor has drawn up the paperwork and submitted it to court. Just wondering how long it could be before the judge “signs it / stamps it” Just need this divorce done! Thanks all

It took 4 weeks exactly for me at Birmingham family court. This was last month

Ooh! Me too…. September 11th financial order was submitted by my solicitor, also Birmingham and no news yet 🤷‍♀️ Pure coincidence but this afternoon I checked our divorce portal on the gov website and nothing about the order even being received so I googled and it says that financial orders are physically ‘stamped’ by the court and ‘sent’ to the parties concerned…. Does this mean via the post?

No I think the solicitor sends them through their portal, they’re stamped and then the portal updated to confirm the status and the solicitor then feeds back to relevant parties.
